About LGBTQIA Therapist

My LGBTQIA+ Therapist, Counselor, gay, therapy approach is straightforward and dependent upon the presentation of each unique and individual client.  I can be active and direct when needed. I am also quiet, reverent and provide solace from a base of real compassion and respect.

 Patricia Wong graduated from Florida International University Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Social Work and has a Certification as a Substance Abuse Professional from Nova Southeastern University.  She has vast experience in the field of addiction and mental health and worked extensively as a counselor, therapist in both large public and private institutions as well as private practice.  Since Patricia has advocated for support through the judicial system of the State of Florida courts, she has experience and is available as an expert witness.

I  believe that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and that therapy can help unlock that potential. My therapeutic approach is to build upon my clients' strengths to overcome these challenges.
